We invite you to enjoy a peaceful, relaxing getaway at Lakeview Cottages & General Store. We are located on the southwest shores of beautiful Sturgeon Lake at Long Beach, in the heart of the Kawartha's, approximately 1½ hours from Toronto, Ontario. Sturgeon Lake is part of the Trent Severn Waterway System and offers great fishing, boating, water sports and swimming.

During your stay, you can enjoy fishing for Pickerel, Muskie, Large and Small Mouth Bass and a variety of pan fish; swimming and water sports. Boat rentals including Paddle Boat, Kayak, Canoe, and motor boat rentals, boat launch and additional docking is available through the General Store located on-site.

In the nearby towns of Lindsay and Fenelon Falls you can shop, dine, take a boat cruise, attend live theatre, ride go-carts or golf. Other activities in the area include bicycle rentals, hiking trails, movie and drive-in theatres.

We have an on-site Bait and Tackle Shop with a variety of live bait and tackle and we sell Ontario Fishing and Hunting Licences.  There is also an on-site General Store which carries Kawartha Dairy products, meat, pop, candy, ice cream, ice cream cones, cigarettes and ice.

We are pleased to offer accommodations for fishing groups, family vacations, and quiet retreats, all at reasonable prices. You can book for one night, or a weekend (Friday night to Sunday morning), or a week (Saturday afternoon to Saturday morning). Our season begins in May when Pickerel fishing opens and ends after Thanksgiving Weekend in October.

Enjoy the endless amount of activities available while you stay in our clean, comfortable accommodations on well maintained grounds. Our center courtyard provides a picturesque view of beautiful Sturgeon Lake. At Lakeview Cottages & General Store we offer a little something for everyone!
